MATERIALS:
1 cup brown lentils
1 chicken bouillon cube, crushed
2 medium tomatoes, sliced 2 cm cubes
2 spring onions, sliced
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (cider)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder (cayenne) according to taste
HOW TO MAKE SALAD SPICY Lentils:
1. Boil the lentils and chicken broth 20 minutes until soft. Do not boil too long because it can be pureed. Drain and set aside to cool.
2. Combine lentils with tomatoes and green onions in a serving bowl. Add the remaining ingredients in a jam jar lid tightly, beat well. Pour dressing over salad and stir gently until blended. Serve
