TEXAS SALAD
2 packages lime jello
1 can crushed pineapple
1 pint cottage cheese, small curd
dash salt
1 pint coffee cream
1 small jar pimentos, minced, optional
Mix pineapple and 1 cup water; heat. When it begins to boil, add jello and see that it dissolves. Let this begin to set. Salt cottage cheese and add pimentos. Fold into jello; fold in coffee cream. Put into a mold and let harden. Serve with mayonnaise if desired.
